/ CHALLENGE
Use photography to communicate a concept using a style of music and album title as a subject. The photography has to work in harmony with the title to establish the feel / attitude of the record in a captivating way.
/ CONCEPT
Skinned is the debut album from Danish electro-pop musician ML BUCH.
This album is about love and heartbreak and relationships in the twenty first century. It’s about technology and how we use it to frame deep human emotions. In her lyrics, ML Buch discovers more about the unpredictable space between the two.
/ MOOD BOARD
I wanted it to look like a stock image to go along with the theme of the internet and technology, but also because of the exaggerated emotions and body language. Because the artist is going through a break-up, I felt it was fitting for her to be looking at a computer in distress.
